Financial Conduct Regulators meet with Arab Bankers in London

Four officials from the UK's Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) briefed representatives of Arab Banks in London on current regulatory initiatives related to banking conduct. The briefing and the discussions were held on a confidential basis to encourage a frank exchange of opinions and ideas.

The four FCA officials were:

Julia Hoggart, Head of the wholesale and investment banking division

Duncan Sloan, a manager in the investment banks division

Anthony Marsh, a manager in the financial crime division

Dr. Susana Carcia-Cervero, a manager in the wholesale banking division.

The meeting was part of a regular series in which senior officials from UK regulatory authorities meet with senior Arab bankers in London, under the auspcices of the Arab Bankers Association.
