Navigating the Regulatory Maze, 2018

Grant Thornton, Fieldfisher and BNY Mellon gave presentations at our evening seminar entitled 'Navigating the Regulatory Maze, 2018' on 15 March.

The objective of the seminar was to brief ABA members and their friends on current and forthcoming bank regulatory initiatives. The seminar included a presentation by Miles Davis, of Grant Thornton, on his firm's dynamic regulatory assurance tool, R², which enables users to track and respond to regulatory requirements.

Presenting the seminar were:

  • Rebecca Deane, Associate Director, Compliance and Financial Crime, at Grant Thornton
  • Hardeep Dosanjh, Senior Managing Counsel, EMEA, at BNY Mellon
  • Miles Davis, Associate Director, Consulting, at Grant Thornton
  • Duncan Black, a partner at Fieldfisher law firm

The seminar was moderated by Katey Neate, Head of Risk Management at BNY Mellon.

After the presentation and question & answer session, participants enjoyed a buffet supper and the opportunity to mix informally with the speakers.

The slide presentation from the event is attached below. Photographs can be seen on the Gallery Tab on this website.
