The Annual City Week conference will be held at the Guildhall in the City of London on 20-21 May.
City Week has been held in 2010 and provides a high-level forum for the discussion of issues currently facing the international financial services industry. The event consistently attracts high level speakers and participants. A list of confirmed speakers for this year's event is given at the end of this email.
The event is organised by City & Financial Global in partnership with the UK's Department for International Trade and organisations such as TheCityUK and the City of London Corporation.
ABA members that are based outside the UK may apply for a complimentary place - register as an 'international delegate' when applying for a place or email the CityWeek team at firstname.lastname@example.org stating your name, job title, organisation name, email and the days on which you would like to attend. UK based members are entitled to an 20% discount off the standard fees by quoting the code: CITY9ABA.
The City Week website is www.cityweekuk.com/2019
The City Week website includes the draft programme. There will be sessions on over-arching themes such as the Role of the City, EU-UK agreements on financial services, and sessions on more specific topics such as trade and investment flows with China and India, Cybersecurity and the fight against financial crime. The website also gives details of last year's conference, so you can see the calibre of speakers, and the subjects they addressed.
