EVENT: Whistleblowing and Hot Lines

We will hold an  seminar on whislteblowing, hot lines and the 'speak up' culture. It will be delivered by  Protect (formely known as Public Concern at Work) a registered charity that promotes discussion and awareness around whitleblowing. 

The seminar will be held on the morning of Wednesday 19 June and will finish with a lunch.

Topics to be considered will include

  • The legal and regulatory framework - The Public Interest Disclosure Act and PRA/FCA rules
  • The benefits to firms of strengthening internal whistleblowing and encouraging a 'speak-up' culture.
  • How line managers and designated officers should handle staff who raise concerns
  • How to measure key indicators and ways to give assurance to Boards that measures are effective.
