Our first evening seminar of 2020 was held on Thursday 13 February and addressed issues related to banks and financial crime. Speakers from Mishcon de Reya and FTI Consulting explained ways in which banks are vulnerable to financial criminals, steps that they can take to protect themselves, and how they can ensure they are meeting regulatory expectations in this area.
The speakers were:

Federica Taccogna, Managing Director and Partner, FTI Consulting
Matthew Ewens, Managing Associate, Mishcon de Reya

The seminar was moderated by Michael Worms, Risk and Control Officer at BNY Mellon.
The seminar and Q&A were followed by a buffet dinner during which participants were able to talk informally with the speakers.
