EVENT: Changing Technology Risk in the Banking Sector
Date: 15th July, 2020 Time: 11:00 am - 12:00 pm
In partnership with PwC, one of our corporate members, we are pleased to offer a Webinar that will address technology risk in the banking sector, with a particular focus on the challenges that arise during a crisis. The Webinar will be on Wednesday 15 July, starting at 11am and lasting for one hour.
The Covid-19 pandemic might be the most serious challenge to financial institutions in nearly a century. As the economic consequences of the pandemic spread, banks find themselves juggling priorities in the face of an uncertain future. This webinar will explore
- Technology challenges facing small UK banks
- How these challenges have evolved during the Covid-19 crisis, with reference to the issues of 'working from home' and 'technology responses'
- Regulatory expectations and pressures, including an overview of what might go wrong and the potential implications for Arab banks in London.
The Webinar will be presented by two PwC Directors:
Rizwan Nasir, FS Technology Risk Director
Mustafa Iqbal, FS Technology Audit Director
