As business activity picks up after the summer, we offer a summary of some of the stories we're following at the Arab Bankers Association.
ABA Welcomes Belleveue Mortlakes as new Corporate Member
Chartered surveyor Belleveue Mortlakes has joined the Arab Bankers Association as a corporate member. The firm is active throughout the London property market, working with banks and private clients.
The Arab Bankers Association is pleased to welcome Belleveue Mortlakes as a Corporate Member.
Belleveue Mortlakes was established more than 20 years ago and is principally involved in property valuations. The firm works with a core group of about 50 UK and Middle Eastern banks, including Islamic banks, and its work ranges from assessing small commercial properties in London suburbs to multi-million pound prime commercial and residential property in central London.
The firm undertakes private client work for wealthy individuals. This often requires a rapid turn-around time – as we were speaking to the firm for this article, its surveyors were in the middle of valuing a large residential property in north London for an Arab diplomat, working to a turn-around time of 24 hours.
Belleveue Mortlakes also manages property receiverships and has redeemed approximately half a billion pounds for its clients in the last two years.
In addition to its commercial work, Belleveue Mortlakes actively supports local charities both by donating some of its profits and by organising fund-raising events such as football competitions. The firm is a particular supporter of CHICKS, a national children’s charity that provides young people with respite breaks, often enabling them to visit the countryside for the first time in their lives.
